In the past half-century, Metals and Plant Ltd have carried out many projects of this specialist nature involving the removal of all types and sizes of boilers and associated equipment. We have safely dismantled and removed over 500 industrial boilers from all manner of live businesses and properties including schools, universities, hospitals, residential care homes and industrial premises. In this time we have encountered and overcome every issue involved in their safe removal and we pride ourselves on an untarnished health and safety/environmental record.
Metals and Plant Ltd boiler removal team are fully trained in relation to all hazards associated with this specialized removal works. With this work predominantly taking place in plant rooms/boiler houses the two main hazards confronted with are confined space working and the safe and legal removal of the asbestos associated with the dismantling of a redundant boiler. We hold a current hazardous waste carriers licence and are trained in confined space working and removal of asbestos, so from the legal removal through to the legal disposal of asbestos Metals and Plant Ltd have it covered.
